Trading, Product Launches, and a Surprise SEC Letter

Today was mostly a good day.

I made a little money on an overnight momentum trade in $BIYA.

I also bought $LHAI into the close for another overnight momentum trade. I sold most of it into the first push higher in after-hours, then bought some back later. Right now it looks like crap.

Most of my workday was spent getting ready for our Fundamental Charts launch at Stock Analysis next week. We're going to be running a free month offer that rolls into a discounted annual Pro or Unlimited plan and plan to make a lot of noise about it all.

I'm excited about the launch because I think it's going to perform well, but I am a bit stressed out about it all. There's a lot that needs to get done tomorrow.

One thing I've been enjoying lately is biking everywhere that's within about a four-mile radius instead of driving (it just feels like the right thing to do for my health and my $$$). CrossFit is about three miles away, so I rode over for class. We ran a timed road mile (just over a mile), and I finished in 6:14. My fastest track mile is somewhere around 5:30-5:45 if I recall. I am pretty good at the cardio part of Crossfit (running, rowing, biking, and anything that requires endurance and speed).

After, I biked home, helped Amber bring in groceries, and we had a nice dinner together that she prepared (great salad and raviolis). We ate dinner and basically just vented to one another how overwhelmed we both are at the moment.

I also received a Large Trader notice in the mail today. If you trade more than 2 million shares or $20 million in a single day, or 20 million shares or $200 million during a calendar month, you're required to file with the SEC. I crossed the threshold from some recent small cap trading on overnights.

Tomorrow we're driving about six and a half hours to Grants Pass, Oregon for the extended weekend. We'll be leaving after work around 6 p.m, so we probably won't get in until around 1 a.m and then I have an early morning tee time at around 7 or so. I'm feeling stressed with so much work left, needing to pack, the long drive, not enough sleep, and trying to enjoy it all once I get there.

Until tomorrow, Kyle
