Been working and hanging out in Mexico (Sayulita) over the last 8 days, and having a great time. Opted into the "Hostel life" vs the traditional $ABNB or Hotel in an effort to meet some new people and can say it was 100% the right decision.
Great coworking scene and events all day with endless friendships being built. Wouldn't have happened had I chose the most comfortable option.
A few pics over the last couple of days, including a new friend from Canada and me winning a beer pong tournament and buying everyone beers with the prize of 800 pesos ($38). A bar crawl, a sunset, endless games of Coup, and can't count the amount of poor attempts at surfing.
Have met so many incredible people from all over the world.
It's very easy to be in such a typical routine Monday-Friday in the western world of:
- Get up and work
- Grab lunch
- Work
- "Clock out" for the day, but never actually end work.
- Run to the gym
- Grab dinner
- Watch TV and do nothing.
this routine is fine, but it becomes a bit repetitive.
