Finding Myself Beyond the Trading Floor: One Year Later (Update)
Last year I wrote a little bit about Finding Myself Beyond the Trading Floor which included this passage:
Now, just one-year-and-some-change later and I couldn’t be happier:
Still living in the Bay Area after leaving ATX to be closer to my best friends and family (who aren’t traders), and loving it!
Started working for an incredible fintech company
Trading is going great
Started SaveOnTrading, which is growing MoM
Solo traveled to Sayulita, Mexico, where I met two Canadians, and a few months later I ended up meeting up with them again in Canada.
Joined a Crossfit gym and pretty dialed in with my health and fitness.
Found someone I really love who is goofy, incredibly smart, sexy, driven, so much fun to be around, and loves me just as much as I love her. Someone I’m proud to show off to the world.
It took me a while to figure out the importance of a balanced life, which is something Dr. Steenbarger used to always share with me over the phone and in much of his writing.
Anyways, life is really good!
