Our Cold Outreach Playbook for Attracting Great Affiliates
I wanted to share with you the cold outreach approach of attracting great new affiliates at Stock Analysis.
There are just a few steps we follow, and they take a little bit of time to cultivate.
We give away our premium product to people that have an audience.
We let them fall in love with our product (website, app, newsletter).
They often come back to us and let us know how much they love our product.

We introduce our affiliate program to them, and usually they can’t believe how good our terms are (60% commissions, 90-day cookie, unique trackable discount code, and the ability to attach their ID to any URL on our site).
When they sign up for our affiliate program, they get added to the Affiliate Brief newsletter, where we share what’s working for affiliates. We add them to our affiliate Discord, where they can share their content that includes us, and everyone goes in and supports their work with likes, comments, and reshares, which helps them grow their audience and earn more as an affiliate.
If they are driving some clicks and sign-ups, we set up an exclusive, time-based and limited-redemption free trial offer that they can share with their audience that performs very well.
We hop on phone calls with them to stay connected, we chat with them in the Discord, and we answer emails.
That is our cold outreach approach on the affiliate side at Stock Analysis.
This only works because people love the product (website, app, and newsletter). If the product is inferior, a successful affiliate program will never work.
