The Affiliate Business Model More Creators Should Use
Does anybody remember this guy?

This is Tanner J Fox. And, back in the BitConnect days, he started a private Discord that was free to join...
The only requirement was that you used his affiliate link to sign up for BitConnect, confirmed it with him, and then you were allowed access.
It made him millions from what I recall in a short amount of time.
As it turns out, BitConnect was a Ponzi scheme lol...
But the business model of offering something of value for "free" in exchange for signing up for something relevant with your affiliate link or code is one that works incredibly well.
Here are a few examples you can try out:
You have a YouTube channel with 20,000 subscribers who are always asking to talk with you on voice, see your real-time portfolio updates, and hear your trade ideas in real time. Instead of starting a membership like everyone else does, you could offer a free private Discord with all of that included.
Maybe you already have a free or paid community with a couple thousand people. Could you add a new private channel where you share all of your trade ideas in real time?
Maybe you have a large free Substack with 10,000 people. Instead of launching a "paid tier" like everyone else does and realizing just how bad that business model is, you could add a private community, extra newsletter, or whatever your audience loves.
In each case, access comes from signing up for a relevant product through your affiliate link or code.
This creates a 2-for-1. They get access to your thing that has a lot of FOMO around it because of its exclusivity, and they also get the research tool.
It doesn't feel like they are paying you, because they aren't. You are just earning as an affiliate.
For most creators, as long as you have a great product you're requiring for entry through your affiliate link, this will greatly outperform just selling that thing!
And if you already have an audience that pays you, you don't necessarily have to replace that. You can follow the same blueprint and add an additional layer of value on top.
In either case, if you create the right value prop, there's a good chance you can convert a meaningful percentage of your DAUs into whatever you're offering. In some cases, 30-50% is completely realistic.
